The development of dome lighting has lead to LATAB releasing their tunnel lighting. This has been specifically designed to illuminate oblong objects or as a diffuse lighting for products on conveyor belts. Tunnel lighting is available in a wide range of lengths starting from 119 mm up to 371 mm. Beside the standard colours, red and white, these lighting units are also available in blue, green, UV and IR.

In order to prevent a "camera hole shadow" it is possible to use a coaxial light together with the tunnel light. Brackets can be mounted at each end of the tunnels.
