CI Systems IRTS Infrared Threat Simulator
The IRTS Infrared Threat Simulator is a medium to long-range electro-optical missile threat simulator for testing missile approach warning systems.
- Fully computer-controlled
- Efficient way to train crews in missile warning systems
- Simulation of fast phenomena (eject and boost)
- Radiometer for countermeasure evaluation(optional)
- Customised missile profiles
- Video-tracking system (optional)
- User-friendly software
The IRTS Infrared Threat Simulator is a medium to long-range electro-optical missile threat simulator for testing missile approach warning systems. It simulates any IR radiation profile, based on parameters such as the missile signature, atmospheric condition, missile speed, distances of up to 5 km and more. An integrated GPS synchronises the IRTS to any other equipment used in the drill or experiment. IRTS is available as a broadband or spectral source for testing dual-colour MWS.
The GPS can also synchronize between several IRTS’s to create a true "Missile-Field" simulation. Training crews can use the IRTS to learn how to operate missile warning systems and IR jammers. It also has an option for a video tracker, and a motorised pedestal. With the optional radiometer, the IRTS gives a complete analysis of missile simulation on the one hand and testing the IR jammers on the other.
